Neptune's Quay, Framed Canvas
Tom is only 25 years old and has already caught the eye of the art world. One of his paintings was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition this year and we are certain many more accolades will follow.
Tom has autism & recognises that he sees the worldly slightly differently to others. This is part of the joy he finds in painting; communicating what and how he sees. When you are able to share what you see, you are less alone.
It's really a great feeling to make something that draws people in [to see] things how I do.
Tom paints in a studio in the garage. It is alive with colour and paint, canvases line the walls. But Tom appreciates the separation from the main house, the quiet this gives him. Although, anyone wondering past with hot chocolate or cake, would be more than welcome to visit. Anytime!
Neptune's Quay is presented in a 38mm stretched canvas within a modern, deep, picture frame. The addition of the frame around the canvas creates a completely new form of wall art, quite distinct to a standard canvas or traditional framing behind glass. The frame also sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas creating a floating border. This gallery style framing is really special, you will love it!
